Welcome to Seussville

Nostalgia and our own experiences  are instinctual guidelines for new parents. We each have had a collage of influences and memories growing up and it is rewarding to pass them along. This all came to me last night when my son and I were reading Dr. Seuss’s Fox in Socks. If you haven’t read it in a while, do so, especially if you have children! It’s funny, a phonetic teaser and a great book to share with an early reader. Seussville has been popularized by The TV series and several movies, but the real stars are on the bookcase. Only in the books can you appreciate the absurd and strange charm of Dr Seuss’s characters. Here’s a sample of the reading buddies available in our store and online!

Sweet Sari Baby Blankets

ConneXions Vocational Training Center is a project where young women from the slums receive training and job opportunities. As well as being trained in tailoring and paper crafts, the women are taught English, business skills and values for life.

The women, whilst being paid for their craft work, are increasingly self sufficient. Their self esteem and dignity are built up and they are empowered to begin to improve the quality of their lives.

Canada Goose has now expanded their high quality outwear line to include infants and children. We are anxiously awaiting our October delivery of parkas, snowsuits and baby bunting bags from this renowned brand. 

The Reese Bomber has a water repellent exterior, 625 fill duck down insulation and  removable coyote fur trim  for easy cleaning. Colours vary from black, red to bright turquoise.

The baby snowsuit is new this season and is made with premium white duck down.  The center-front YKK locking zipper runs from the chin down to the ankle making dressing and undressing fast and easy. The bright red and green tea colours are bright and appropriate for both a boy or a girl.
